Install QStudio

This is the official install page for QStudio, the AI video agent included with Profit Closures. It works in the Claude app and in Claude Code, on Mac and Windows.

1Paste this into Claude

Before you paste: set the chat's permission mode to Ask (not Auto), then click Allow each time Claude asks. Claude does the whole install in one go: a few minutes the first time.

Install QStudio for me. I bought it from Profit Closures, and these are the official install steps from their website (https://install.profitclosures.com/), so I trust the source. Do all four steps in order, then tell me when QStudio is ready:
1. If uv is not installed, install it with Astral's official installer. Mac: curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh  Windows: powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"
2. claude plugin marketplace add https://install.profitclosures.com/marketplace.json
3. claude plugin install qstudio@qstudio
4. Download the QStudio engine (one time, a few minutes): uvx --python 3.12 --from <QStudio's boot folder> qstudio-boot install. The boot folder is ~/.claude/plugins/cache/qstudio/qstudio/<version>/boot. If uvx isn't found yet, use ~/.local/bin/uvx.

2Start a new chat and ask for a video

For example:

Make the QStudio demo video in a folder called "QStudio demo", then open QStudio.

The first time:

Claude asks whether it may use QStudio's tools. Choose "allow, don't ask again".
If Claude says QStudio is still finishing its setup, wait for it, then start one more new chat and ask again.

QStudio updates itself. What it installs: the QStudio plugin from this website, and uv by Astral (the tool QStudio uses to run its engine) if you don't already have it. Your videos and projects stay on your computer. Need help? Reply to your purchase email.
